What qualifications do I need to open a care home?
Jul 26, 2022The following qualifications are needed for becoming a care home provider:
- Business qualifications such as MBA or other business experience
- Having a medical qualification such as a nursing degree would be a bonus
- Care certificate or care NVQs
Also, remember, just having a qualification will not qualify to be a registered provider. Your knowledge will be assessed by CQC to be registered as a provider. Contact us to get you ready for The CQC interview.
